Cultivation in Sri Lanka
The Queen Beans come from Sri Lanka. The raw cocoa beans with pulp come from the cultivation of nine families who, as small farmers, cultivate cocoa plants, among other things.
The beans are cultivated in ecological forest gardens on a total of 10 hectares of land and grow between other crops such as coconut palms, papaya and jackfruit and are part of a natural ecosystem.
The cultivation of mixed crops offers a variety of benefits for flora and fauna. The different trees and shrubs offer each other protection from the sun and wind and ensure better water retention in the soil.
No pesticides are used. Only natural fertilizers are used.

U.a. Sehr lecker! Kakaobohnen zum Genießen!
