Food supplement with unique nutritional properties.
The special thing about this raw material is not only the addition with minerals. Important and beautiful is also that the collagen comes from certified pasture farming. The cattle are on the Argentine pastures and not, as usual, in the stable. And this is verifiable. The husbandry of the animals is controlled by LIAF Control, which in turn is a member of the American Grassfed Association.

Why we like this pasture-raised collagen hydrolysate.
Humans and animals alike benefit from species-appropriate husbandry. The use of hormones, antibiotics, and anabolic steroids is both prohibited and unnecessary in this pasture-raised system. The farms where the animals are raised must maintain strict protocols. Industrial animal feed, for example, is banned and cattle must be shown to spend their entire lives on pasture.
Collagen hydrolysate is a highly processed substance. In the first step, the native collagen protein is extracted from cattle split and bone by enzymatic hydrolysis. In the following production steps such as purification, concentration, extraction, sterilization and drying, the collagen is split into different peptides (amino acid chains). This makes the powder neutral in taste and highly soluble.
What is the difference between collagen and collagen hydrolysate?
Collagen hydrolysate is producedfrom collagen. It is legally classified as a food and is used as a special form of collagen hydrolysate in dietary supplements. Under "normal bio-physiological" conditions, collagen is not soluble. However, it can be hydrolyzed with the help of bases, acids or heat. Hydrolysis is the splitting of a biochemical compound - in this case collagen - into many small individual parts. Gelatin, for example, consists of concentrated, dried, purified, sterilized and ground collagen hydrolysate.
Pure coll agen hydrolysate is enzymatically hydrolyzed collagen that is soluble in water. It is used not only in food supplements but also in hair cosmetics to improve combability and hair shine. In addition, collagen hydrolysate can be found in cosmetics, such as topical skin care creams. However, collagen hydrolysate is most commonly used in the manufacture of products with a high protein content. Collagen hydrolysate poses virtually no allergy risk, unlike other proteins. Moreover, it can be used to make clear drinks that do not have a bitter taste. For these reasons, it is increasingly found in protein products such as protein powders, protein bars and protein drinks.
Another area of application for collagen hydrolysate is the food sector, where it is used in the production of meat and sausage products, as well as in beverages and sweets. And last but not least, it is used in the pharmaceutical industry for the production of tablets, capsule coatings and as a filling agent. In the food supplements industry, special collagen hydrolysate powders are used, in which very specific peptides are contained.

Sort of can’t believe it but the peach is yummy
Flavored collagen usually just barely masks it’s funk, so yummy is a first for me.
Not a first is the same exceptional quality I’ve come to expect from this brand (edubily).
And the same excellent service I’ve come to expect from this seller (eichenhain).
