What are the small crystals in my cod liver oil?

The crystals are harmless – they form when the oil warms to room temperature and then slowly cools to below 5°C (e.g. during transport).

To dissolve the crystals again, you can let the oil warm to room temperature, possibly in a water bath, until it liquefies. Then place it in the refrigerator, and there should be no more crystals at the next use.
