Fermented cod liver oil from Green Pasture – a truly unique food. And not just because of its omega-3 fatty acids.
In the past, fermented cod liver oil was an exceptionally highly valued food in many cultures for strengthening body and mind. It contains the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA, as well as the full spectrum of fat-soluble vitamins A and D. It also contains numerous enzymes and quinones.
The American dentist Dr. Weston A. Price always gave his patients cod liver oil along with butter oil . He noticed that these two foods, especially when combined, were extremely beneficial for his patients. Today, we know that the nutrients in each food complement each other perfectly. If you read English, I highly recommend the following article by Chris Masterjohn from the Weston A. Price Foundation: On the Trail of the Elusive X-Factor: A Sixty-Two-Year-Old Mystery Finally Solved .
Fermented cod liver oil is produced using traditional methods with modern quality control. Cod livers are fermented for up to 6 months without heating. A true Slow Food . Afterward, each batch is tested for purity.
A notice:
"Cod and cod are synonyms, but both terms are used differently regionally: Sometimes, cod is used to refer to young fish, while cod is used only for older, spawning-ready fish. Fish from the Baltic Sea are usually called cod (Baltic cod), while those from other waters are called cod."

Unlike cod liver oil, as we know it from childhood or from the pharmacy today, this cod liver oil is lacto-fermented, which can leave a strong tingling sensation in the throat. It's more pleasant to swallow it with juice or honey.
Green Pasture provides the following guidelines:
Children: 3 months to 12 years: 1/8 to 1/2 teaspoon.
Children over 12 years and adults: 1/2 to 1 teaspoon.
Pregnant and breastfeeding women: 1 to 2 teaspoons.
The crystals are harmless – they form when the oil warms up to room temperature and then slowly cools down to below 5°C ( zB during transport).
To dissolve the crystals again, you can warm the oil to room temperature, if necessary in a water bath, until it liquefies. Then place it in the refrigerator, and the next time you take it, there should be no crystals left.
Liking doesn't mean liking the taste. :-) Many foods today are less nutritious than they were 30 years ago. Our soils are depleted, and vegetables and animals are expected to grow quickly. Fermented cod liver oil is nutrient-rich and thus makes an important contribution to an optimal supply of certain nutrients.
Super Zeug😁
Danke!
schnelle Lieferung, Danke.
